Gearing up a Fantastic Petite Martinique Regatta 2024

Regatta in we DNA is the 2024 theme Petite Martinique Regatta. From May 17th to the 20th it’s going to be four days of sailing, activities, feteing and non stop fun.

This is your guide to the weekend of activities. As always you can checking on the official Petite Martinique Regatta Page for update info.

Friday, May 17th

  • Grand Cultural Opening
  • Flambeau Night & Welcome Party
    PM Hard Court, 7pm

Saturday, May 18th

  • Round the Island Boat Race 10am
  • Onshore Activities 11am
  • Lauve (Soca Fete) PM Hard Court, 10pm

Sunday, May 19th

  • Race 1 (All Classes) 10am
  • Onshore Activities 11am
    Race 2 (All Classes) 2pm
  • Rhythm Wave on the Beach 5pm
    & Live Band on the Beach

Monday, May 20th

  • Breaking Dawn J’ouvert 4am -10am
  • Onshore Activities 12pm
  • Race 3 (All Classes) 2pm
    Closing & Prize Giving Ceremony 7pm

Transportation

When travelling from Grenada, the Osprey Shuttle is your best choice. For PM regatta you can usually purchase a ticket that takes you to Carriacou and then on to PM. The cost ticket is $110 EC one way. The regular price that just takes you to Carriacou is $80.

If travelling from Carriacou the MV Paradox operates through out the regatta weekend from the Windward jetty. Sometimes you will be able to find a fishing boat at the jetty willing to take a few passengers over as well.
Note the Shanchez Tender IV also travels to PM from the Hillsborough jetty but NOT on weekends. The last trip to PM is on Friday at 3:00 PM and it does not return to Carriacou until the Tuesday morning as Monday is Whitsuntide holiday.
The price per ride is $20 EC for both vessels.
